Abu Dhabi, UAE, United Arab Emirates, 03/14/2007 - Under the patronage of His Excellency Staff Colonel Dr. Sheikh Saeed Bin Mohammed Al-Nahyan, Al Khawarizmi International College (KIC) celebrated its Annual Graduation Ceremony for the Year 2007.

The ceremony was held for KIC's 18th Cohort of Students of the Associate Degree in Computer Studies Program and Associate Degree in Business Administration Program. The ceremony was held in the Main Theatre of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI).
The graduating students for 2007 batch hail from 16 nations. Currently there are students belonging to as many as 25 nationalities studying different program at the college, which indicates that the college and its program are internationally acclaimed and in high demand amongst local as well as expatriate students.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries and representatives from Government Department, Foreign Embassies, Universities, Schools, Private Companies including Oil companies, Banks, etc and representatives from Social & Community Clubs.
Mr. Radi, the founder and CEO of KIC said on the occasion that college Vision was very clear from the beginning; 'to be the leading community college in the UAE and neighboring countries by offering associate degree programs that are of high quality and produce graduates who are in national shortage'. Mr. Radi also stated the growth the college has witnessed in the past years.
Present at the ceremony were Prof. Kamal Nasser, Vice Chancellor, Al Ain University of Science and Technology, Al Ain who highlighted the recent articulation signed amid KIC & Skyline College for academic cooperation thereby leading to credit transfer facility for KIC graduates willing to continue higher education at Al Ain University to acquire Bachelors/Masters Degree.
The Palestinian and Jordanian Ambassadors attended the ceremony along with representatives from Embassy of Libya, Syria, Oman and Iran.
Also, present at the ceremony were Prof. Abdul Rahim Sabouni, Vice Chancellor, Al Husn University, Abu Dhabi. In his presentation Prof. Abdul Rahim focused the courses/programs offered at the University.
The ceremony was also attended by current students and the KIC Alumni Members along with family and friends.
Folk dances were performed by bands from the UAE and Palestine at the end of the ceremony.
