Saba, a leader in cloud-based intelligent talent management, extended its commitment to the regional talent management market with the opening of a Saba Cloud datacenter in Australia. The announcement was made at the company’s ANZ and APAC regional Summit at the Radisson Blu in Sydney, Australia today.
This datacenter, the first in Asia (Saba currently has datacenters in North America and Europe), focuses on three areas of critical importance to enterprises in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific:
• Data Privacy
The Australian Privacy Act, which became law in March, requires foreign cloud providers to contractually undertake to comply with the legislation and it prohibits the sending of personal information outside Australia. With the Australian Saba Cloud datacenters, data from Saba’s ANZ and APAC customers will reside in Australia.
Regional Saba Cloud customers benefit from higher performance due to the proximity of the datacenters to end users
Saba’s solutions are offered with a service level agreement for 99.9% availability.
“The opening of our Saba Cloud datacenter in Australia is just the latest proof of Saba’s commitment to Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific,” said Srinivas Ogireddy, Saba’s Chief Cloud Officer and SVP of Engineering and Operations. “With Australia being the most mature SaaS market in the region, it made the most business sense for Saba to open its first APAC Saba Cloud datacenter here.”
