MiX Telematics, a leading global provider of fleet and mobile asset management solutions, and regional channel partner Fleet Management Systems International (FMSi), are showcasing a wide range of innovative fleet management and safety solutions for the oil and gas sector, at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum EXPO (ADIPEC).
The event, one of the top three oil and gas shows in the world, is being held from 10 to 13 November 2014 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. Visitors are encouraged to stop by at stand number 12420, in hall 12.
MiX Telematics and FMSi are participating in the event under the theme “Save lives and reduce risks”. The theme is highly relevant considering that around 80% of motor collisions are caused by human error. Through their participation, both companies aim to demonstrate that by working with a trusted and proven partner, oil and gas companies can reduce their risk and maintain a high level of safety, while saving millions at the same time.
ADIPEC offers an ideal platform for MiX Telematics to showcase their reputable solutions for oil and gas companies in the UAE and the wider Middle East region. “Our existing oil and gas customers in the region report significant results that include accident reductions and fuel savings of around 10%. Better yet, the benefits they achieve are sustainable through the long-term provision of tools that allow for proactive driver behaviour monitoring, driver training, and enhanced fleet utilisation,” says Alan Hall, Managing Director of MiX Telematics (Middle East and Australasia).
“We’re delighted to partner with FMSi once again and look forward to sharing new insights and innovative solutions with other professionals in the field,” add Hall. According to the organiser, 1,800 businesses and 6,000 delegates are participating in ADIPEC, which is expected to attract around 60,000 industry professionals of which 53% have joint or direct purchasing authority.
MiX Telematics’s tried and tested world-class fleet management and safety solutions are sold to customers in over 120 countries via an extensive channel partner network. Their customers rely heavily on their In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems, web-based services, and reporting and analytics tools for the proactive monitoring of their drivers and vehicles. MiX Telematics has worked within the oil and gas industry for over a decade. An oil and gas customer of theirs, in the Middle East, achieved a 72% sustained improvement in driver behaviour after installing a MiX Telematics fleet management solution.
ADIPEC is a dynamic gathering that looks at the future viability and profitability of the energy industry as a whole. It is being held at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre (Adiec).
