Tallinn, Harjumaa, Estonia, 03/05/2007 - International ERP & CRM producer HansaWorld has announced software version 5.2, including updated communication tools, advanced production planning and changes in the user interface.

According to HansaWorld's Managing Director Karl Bohlin, the new version gives users more flexibility in managing their businesses. "For nearly twenty years, technological innovation has been a priority for us. With this version we have made several updates to production tools and added a number of features, such as the BusinessPhone communication centre for sharing contacts and keeping track of interactions. An assisted set up process makes installing the system easier, and automatic login allows you to save your password upon first login," Bohlin explained.

Comfortable automatic login
On first login, the system asks whether it should save the username and password and automatically log in that user next time.
Simultaneous uploads and downloads
Uploading and downloading now occurs in the background so you can transfer several files at a time and continue working with other HansaWorld windows.
Custom styled documents
You can now set different fonts and styles for different types of matrix rows on invoices, sales orders, quotations and project budget documents.
Graphical resource planning
Manage resources and assets using a graphical planner that gives a quick overview of the availability of assets in monthly, weekly, daily or hourly views.

Map integration
An option in BusinessPhone allows you to find addresses on an interactive map (available in selected countries).
Sending out meeting invitations
Meeting invitations can be sent out from the Activity window to customers or partners who use for example Outlook, Gmail or Apple's iCal. The recipient can either accept or decline and the reply will appear in the inviter's mailbox.
