During the show, Alstom will highlight its new tramway factory, its Citadis and Axonis solutions and also its trains and intercity systems. Beyond that, an executive from the company will make a presentation about the tramway’s trends in Brazil.

The event brings the entire production chain of the rail sector and counts with the participation of operators, suppliers of products and services, entrepreneurs, technicians, engineers and other experts to boost business and debates to permeate the future of the rail market in the country. Last year, the fair received nearly 8,300 professionals and, this year, will receive 230 companies from 23 countries worldwide.

Alstom’s Axonis solution integrates, perfectly, to the specific transportation needs of fast-growing and densely populated cities. It has a reduced construction time considerably versus traditional systems, taking 3 to 4 years to entry into service. It has a capacity of 45.000 passengers per hour and per direction and it is 100% motorized. The Citadis tramway, which will also be highlighted in the fair, is reference in sustainability because of its low environmental impact and its reduced energy costs. It also has a reduced maintenance cost and can be interfaced with existing networks, making it insert into any urban environment. It has a capacity of 400 passengers per car.
