GuestLogix, Inc., the leading global provider of ancillary-focused merchandising, payment and business intelligence technology to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced that it will be hosting its 2015 GuestLogix User Group Conference at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel in Long Beach, California, May 11 to 13. The 2015 conference marks the Company’s 6th event of its kind as well as reflects a change in timing and location from years prior. With its move from fall to spring as well as being set in an exciting new locale, the event aims to attract the largest number of passenger travel industry delegates to date. GuestLogix’ global customers, channel partners and industry leaders will gather at this exclusive event focused on the future of powering ancillary revenue at onboard and off board touchpoints, discussing new retailing technologies and requirements, key trends and industry innovations that elevate ancillary revenue potential.
"Last year, we took our conference on the road, moving it from Toronto where GuestLogix is headquartered to London, UK, and this was met with an overwhelmingly positive response from our customers and partners,” said Brett Proud, President and CEO, GuestLogix. “We anticipate similar excitement over the move to Long Beach in spring 2015, where we will create a truly memorable and meaningful experience consisting of exceptional networking opportunities and a revamped agenda that speaks specifically to current and future trends in ancillary retailing. This past year we rebranded and expanded our focus from ‘powering onboard retail’ to ‘powering ancillary revenue’, so our guests can expect to see an emphasis on omni-channel retailing and leveraging new technologies at both onboard and off board touchpoints to maximize ancillary revenue generation.”
The 2015 conference agenda promises to deliver thought-provoking breakout sessions, dynamic keynote speakers and several networking opportunities that include the highly anticipated offsite gala event and POSie Awards ceremony. With one and a half days in-session, hot topics including payment trends, big data, self-service and omni-channel retailing will be addressed, and the agenda will once again incorporate a track dedicated to Flight Attendants to gather feedback on new and existing technologies, as well as suggestions for further advancing the Company’s solution offerings to best meet the needs of the passenger travel industry. The GuestLogix User Group Conference will provide an ideal forum for GuestLogix customers, partners, staff and industry experts to collaborate and discuss new innovations, managing change and identifying strategies for driving greater ancillary revenues within their operations.
"From the moment that delegates walk through the door, they are part of an interactive environment that encourages knowledge sharing, open feedback and the formation of valuable industry connections,” said Patrick O’Neill, COO, GuestLogix. “This conference will highlight winning strategies that have proven to enhance airlines’ overall retail performance and the passenger experience. Of course, we will also take this opportunity to showcase the Company’s next-generation technology from smartphone and tablet solutions to Ancillary Insights™ - that can assist airlines in raising their ancillary revenue potential throughout the travel journey, today and into the future.”
Delegate registration will open on January 14, 2015. For more information or to learn about current media and sponsorship opportunities, please contact Katie Kelly at kkelly[.]guestlogix.com.
