The issuance of PCI, EMV L1, EMV L2 and TQM Certification means that the Company’s new mobile payment sleeves will be able to securely accept Chip & PIN in addition to magnetic stripe and contactless payments. These certifications will also enable airline, rail and lounge crew to use consumer-grade mobile devices in a multi-purpose fashion, such as for accessing crew manuals, in addition to using these devices for retailing purposes. This announcement reflects the Company’s ongoing commitment to developing the most innovative and secure retail solutions for the passenger travel industry.

The use of payment sleeves to support GuestLogix’ retail platform for smartphones and tablets operating iOS, Android and Windows Phone systems, have become an increasingly popular choice for global airline, rail and lounge operators. Current sleeves offer PCI-compliant payment processing via magnetic stripe and are contactless-ready, and the Company’s new edition of sleeves will enable operators to also accept Chip & PIN payments in a secure and reliable fashion, leading to improvements in overall performance and the passenger experience. Operators can also expect to benefit from improvements in crew efficiency, as consumer-grade smartphone and tablet capabilities may be utilized while the payment sleeve is in use.
