AOC International Symposium (Booth #706), Washington, D.C. October 6-9, 2014 Curtiss-Wright Corporation today announced that it will display its latest commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions designed for use in demanding EW and SIGINT C4ISR defense and aerospace applications at the 51st Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention (Booth #706). At AOC, Curtiss-Wright will highlight its newest Xilinx® Virtex®-7 FPGA-based OpenVPX™ modules for EW and sensor processing (currently in full production and shipping to customers.)

Rugged COTS EW Processing Modules:

• CHAMP-WB-DRFM OpenVPX™ Digital RF Memory Board-set: The CHAMP-WB-DRFM was honored by Microwaves & RF magazine as one of only 12 new products named to the magazine’s list of “Top Products of 2013”. This 6U OpenVPX™ COTS module delivers the highest available bandwidth/highest resolution for wideband Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) processing. Combined with the specially designed TADF-4300 module (co-developed with Tektronix Component Solutions), the board-set enables designers to develop powerful embedded DRFM solutions with 3x the performance of existing CMOS-based offerings. It delivers unprecedented 12 GS/s 8-bit ADC and 12 GS/s 10-bit DAC performance from a single 6U slot.

• IN-BOOTH 6 GHz CHAMP-WB-DRFM DEMONSTRATION: In its booth, Curtiss-Wright will be demonstrating how the CHAMP-WB-DRFM captures and transmits up to 6 GHz of bandwidth. The live demonstration will allow attendees to view live signal, SFDR and spectrum plots.

• VPX3-530 3U OpenVPX FPGA Module: The next generation VPX3-530 ADC/DAC 4GSPS transceiver card features a Virtex®-7 FPGA and delivers high analog I/O channel density, multi-GSPS speed and multi-board synchronization in a small form factor rugged 3U OpenVPX module. Performance only previously available in a 6U module twice the size.
