S-O Comply was introduced in 2003 as one of the first purpose-built compliance software solutions to help public companies in the U.S. and Canada meet the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. The product was co-founded by two NJ-based software development companies; onProject Inc. and OmniE Labs, Inc. The two companies worked together to market and develop the application as part of a diversified product offering. With onProject providing sales and marketing support and OmniE delivering software development, the product was brought to market and successfully adopted by many customers in both countries.
