The inaugural Citywealth London Zoo event kicked off in London last year with prestigious guests, bubbly champagne and an evening filled with laughter and good cheer. Herewith a quick review of the night, the full round up is on our website. The walk from the drinks reception to dinner had features like Winston Churchill’s limousine on display. The Moyse four – Richard Moyse of Boodle Hatfield cajoled his chums The Hon Mark Bridges, Josh Rubenstein and Martyn Gowar to sing a song about Gordon Brown. The four got up to treat the crowd to their choir like voices and song dedicated to Gordon Brown.
The event got coverage for its sponsors in the Financial Times, The Telegraph, The Business, CityAM and the Evening Standard. Next event is once again at London Zoo on 10th May 2007. Sponsors in 2006 included L'Artisan perfume who launched their Absinthe range at the event. Alessi who gave all guests gifts and presents from their stores. UBS a global private bank, Close Trustees, Switzerland a leading trust /family office structure company and Key Trust who also set up family office structures for the super wealthy and trusts and are based in Jersey. Citywealth also had donated for the raffle cigar rolling master classes and dinner for two at Sauterelle. All received substantial publicity to their target audience, the super rich.
This year the event has a Bollywood/red theme to celebrate the rise of Indian high net worths. Last year the drinks venue was ‘The reptile House’ London Zoo May 2006. Attendee's buy yachts, boats, jewellery, property and jets for their clients and manage these assets for them throughout the life of ownership.
