Symphony Teleca Corporation (STC), a new member of the Open Automotive Alliance (OAA) and global Android scaling partner, announced today the availability of Android Auto™ integration packages starting in July 2014 to support OEMs and Tier1s bring optimized Android-compliant automotive solutions to market faster.
Symphony Teleca, a global innovation and development partner, joined the Open Automotive Alliance (OAA) to support growth and adoption of Android Auto™ solutions. The OAA is a global alliance of technology and auto industry leaders committed to bringing the Android platform to cars starting in 2014. STC will provide Android Auto™ integration packages commercialized for different operating systems with availability starting in July 2014. Android Auto™ enables the IVI head-unit to display and support interaction with applications and services running on Android handsets. As a long established Android scaling partner and automotive systems integrator, Symphony Teleca will bring the critical scale and expertise to the OAA to support OEMs and Tier1s globally.
