Nextiva, a leading provider of cloud-based business communications, announced today that Phoenix Business Journal has named Nextiva CEO Tomas Gorny a member of its "40 Under 40" Class of 2014, a list that recognizes the Valley's up-and-coming business leaders, comprising an impressive constellation of outstanding men and women in Arizona.
The "40 Under 40" honorees are dynamic leaders in their businesses, industries and communities who strive to inspire, innovate and instigate change. Now in the list's 14th year, Phoenix Business Journal looks for men and women who have an entrepreneurial spirit and will be active in leading the community for years to come.
The honorees were celebrated at an awards bash June 19th at the Phoenix Theatre.
"We chose the 40 the old-fashioned way, by collecting nominations and reviewing them with a panel of business leaders and '40 Under 40' alumni," said Phoenix Business Journal Associate Editor Kat Bryant. "The 'Under 40' crowd tends to be very tech-savvy."
"I am honored to be recognized in the 40 Under 40 class of 2014," said Nextiva's Gorny. "I am committed to having a positive impact on the communications industry and my team at Nextiva, and believe that it is our excellent employees that propel us forward. It's our entire company, not just one person."
Winners were profiled in the June 20 Phoenix Business Journal edition.
