Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. and NEC Corporation announced today the planned introduction of Japan's first large-scale charging services for Electric Vehicles (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHV) at a commercial facility beginning in December 2014.

The two companies will install 125 chargers for EV and PHV at Tokyo Midtown, one of Tokyo's most recognizable high-rise developments, featuring offices, shopping, housing and hotels. This will be the largest number of EV/PHV chargers within a single facility in Japan and is expected to improve convenience for customers and contribute to mass deployment of EV/PHV
