The Electric Circuit is pleased to announce the signature of a partnership agreement with the Société immobilière Nord Sud for the installation of a public charging station for electric vehicles. Visitors will soon be able to charge their vehicle in the parking lot of the Tim Hortons restaurant, which is scheduled to open in Amqui at 394, Route 132 Ouest in August 2014.
“We would like to thank the Société immobilière Nord Sud and congratulate it for its decision to install the very first charging station in the Vallée de la Matapédia at Amqui’s brand new Tim Hortons restaurant, which is currently under construction,” noted Mayor Gaétan Ruest. “For Amqui, a member of Québec’s Villages-relais, this is certainly very good news.”
“We are delighted to welcome the Société immobilière Nord Sud, a company committed to regional development,” stated Pierre-Luc Desgagné, Vice President Public and Government Affairs at Hydro-Québec, on behalf of the partners of the Electric Circuit. “The Electric Circuit continues to expand its network in eastern Québec and the arrival of this new partner in the heart of the Vallée de la Matapédia corresponds well with our objective of meeting the needs of all electric vehicle drivers.”
