London, United Kingdom, 2014/04/03 - Kantar announces that two of its leaders - Renee Smith, Kantar chief research officer and Frank Kelly, SV-P, global marketing & strategy, Lightspeed Research have joined the Google Consumer Surveys Advisory Board, effective April 1 - Kantar.com.
“Kantar and Google Consumer Surveys have forged a strong relationship and Kantar companies are actively seeking opportunities to use the Google Consumer Surveys platform to bring our clients increased speed, agility, and cost effectiveness,” said Wayne Levings, president, Kantar. “Where some in the industry see a competitor, we see a technology partner with an innovative platform that provides a way to accelerate and complement Kantar’s ongoing efforts to identify new business models, automate fieldwork, and transform research.”
"We have worked closely with Kantar for some time, and we are excited for the experience and perspective Renee and Frank will bring as part of the Advisory Board," said Paul McDonald, Product Manager of Google Consumer Surveys.
Recent examples of Kantar’s transformation of its research solutions to enhance speed, agility, and cost effectiveness include Millward Brown’s LinkExpress, BrandNow, and eStatic solutions and TNS’s Conversion Model Express as well as Lightspeed GMI’s new SurveyCycle process.
According to Smith, the Google Consumer Surveys micro-survey platform also complements various initiatives across Kantar and its operating companies to shorten or combine smaller bits of surveys.
“Across Kantar, we are working to transform research to fit today’s increasingly fast-paced consumer lifestyles by creating shorter, bite-size survey portions,” Smith said. “We continue to encourage a laser-sharp focus on the purpose and value of every data element and leveraging the Google Consumer Surveys platform is one of the ways we can achieve this.”
The Google Consumer Surveys Advisory Board is a forum for bringing together and soliciting feedback from industry thought leaders to enhance its tools to benefit users.
