Barracuda Networks, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, today announced that the Barracuda Spam Firewall is now available on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Marketplace. The Barracuda Spam Firewall brings award-winning security capabilities to customers who are migrating their email infrastructure to the AWS cloud. Barracuda will demonstrate the Barracuda Spam Firewall on AWS in booth #122 this week during the AWS Summit in San Francisco.
“As more organizations look to migrate applications and infrastructures to the cloud, we’ve seen significant interest in our security technologies available today in AWS Marketplace,” said Blair Hankins, VP Engineering, Barracuda. “Making the Barracuda Spam Firewall available on AWS is the next step in expanding the Barracuda security suite into the cloud, complementing our network security and web application security offerings available today as well.”
“We are pleased that Barracuda is bringing their dedicated anti-spam solution to AWS Marketplace,” said Terry Hanold, VP Cloud Commerce, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “As more customers migrate their email infrastructure to AWS, their ability to easily find, evaluate and deploy security solutions from AWS Marketplace becomes even more important.”
The Barracuda Spam Firewall includes best-of-breed spam and virus blocking, data protection, DoS prevention, email continuity, encryption, and policy management at one affordable price. As new email security threats emerge, the Barracuda Spam Firewall is updated automatically through Barracuda’s subscription services with new capabilities for long-term protection.
