Building on the success of its On Demand risk assessment solutions, Atlanta-based e-VERIFILE.COM Inc, today launched ActionRITE-- a fully automated solution that will help organizations to easily manage their Adverse Action process.
A common term in human resource management, Adverse Action is defined as a denial of employment or any other related decision that adversely affects a current or prospective employee. Adverse Action procedures are usually triggered after an employer has performed a background investigation on an employee or contractor and have found negative information in the resulting report.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) as well as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires all employers to notify applicants of any adverse hiring decision that is based on employment screening and consumer reports.
