3GSM – Jataayu’s browsing and messaging applications come pre-integrated on solutions from TI’s Applications Suite Ecosystem partners such as Open Plug’s ELIPS, Sasken’s Application Framework and SKY MobileMedia's SKY-MAPTM. In addition Jataayu’s browser has also been integrated on Motorola’s AJAR framework. These leading platforms comprise TI’s ecosystem of application framework partners for "LoCosto" single-chip solutions and OMAP-Vox™ platform.
The process of porting, validating and integrating software for multimedia feature phones takes significant monetary and time investment. “Browsing and messaging are key features that will help drive mobile phone growth in emerging markets. Adding Jataayu’s application suite to “LoCosto” and OMAP-Vox platforms including our solutions from our Application Suite Ecosystem partners will further improve time to market of these key mobile applications,” said Markus Tremmel, worldwide manager of TI’s Cellular Systems Ecosystem.
