In addition, Smart Matrix Architecture is based on the PCI-e 2.0 network, which achieves 1/5 of the time delay of similar products, and improves the speed of data exchange significantly. Meanwhile, Smart Matrix Architecture enables all the controllers to share the cache, and supports distributed cache load, which not only ensures high reliability, also improves storage performance dramatically.
First developed by Huawei, RAID2.0+ technology has divided virtualization into two layers: the base layer has been constructed into a fully virtualized resource pool, which is able to accelerate the data recovery by 20 times, shortens the reconstruction period of 1 TB data to 30 minutes and lowers the disk failure rate; the upper layer has effectively improved the resource utilization by 3 times through fine-grained data management and the Smart series of software, including SmartTier, SmartMotion, SmartThin, and so on.
