The surveillance is video streams to video-secure-center through the metro network by wired or wireless technology which is known as WiFi/ WiMax technology; Offering a non-stop power systems without construction interruption is however always a challenge.

Korenix solution
Korenix JetNet 3906G is a new invention which powers the IP surveillance system by photovoltaic panel and DC 24V battery backup system. Therefore, The JetNet 3906G is ideal PoE switch for special surveillance applications, for use in vehicles or out-door remote locations monitoring where is lack of the DC 48V.

Additionally, The JetNet 3906G is a Gigabit Ethernet Switch with 5 ports of Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45, 1 SFP socket for 100Mbps and 1000Mbps fiber transceivers. It has been adopted for 4 IEEE 802.3at PoE injectors for 30W PD application and is also compatible with previous standard of IEEE 802.3af.

The JetNet 3906G offers 4 PoE output with Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet connection, and one SFP fiber port for backbone connection. The power input comes from photovoltaic system and boosts from DC 24V to 48V for the Power over Ethernet applications. It has compliance of NEMA-TS2 road traffic standard with a -34°C ~ 74°C wide temperature operation and IEC 61000-6-2 / IEC 61000-6-4 Heavy Industrial EMC. It can operate and forward PoE power budget up to 110W with power input voltage DC 24v or DC 36v at 75°C surrounding temperature, 60W PoE power budget with DC 12V input.
