Oracle today announced the Oracle Enterprise Communications Broker, a new, core communications controller designed to enable the hyper-connected enterprise with a new era of rich employee collaboration and efficient customer service.
According to a 2012 Frost & Sullivan survey, 69% of enterprises use communications products from multiple vendors (1), which can lead to interoperability issues between various communications applications and systems. Further, as communications infrastructure shifts from legacy to next-generation UC networks, enterprises’ complex and disparate infrastructure makes it difficult to maintain reliable operations, optimize network resource use and adopt next generation business automation applications such as click-to-call that help increase worker productivity.
