In this workshop, federal security topics will include how to extend API security to in-house enterprise IDM platforms and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and how Enterprise Architects can manage, deliver and secure applications and federal APIs.
This workshop is specifically designed for individuals whose role involves security initiatives around Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) and PKI or integration and application projects using APIs. Attendees of the workshop will learn more about:
• Best practices for securing and integrating, mobile and SOA applications across multiple domains;
• How SAML, XACML and related protocols are central to government best practice security reference architectures;
• Demos of products showing how and why to leverage and manage APIs securely as part of a strategic enterprise engagement strategy.
