BackupAgent, the leading provider of cloud backup software, today announced its integration with Autotask’s IT Business Management Solution built for IT Service Providers, Managed Service Providers and Enterprise IT Managers. The integration enables joint Autotask and BackupAgent partners to automate billing and optimize the incident management process. The announcement was made at Autotask’s International user conference, Autotask Community Live, in Barcelona, Spain. BackupAgent is Gold Sponsor of the event.
The integration was built in collaboration with Autotask and is the deepest integration possible for the Autotask product. The integration includes:
1. An Autotask LiveLink for single-sign-on to the BackupAgent reseller platform.
2. The automated creation of Autotask service desk tickets with detailed logging when a backup is unsuccessful.
3. Automated billing.
