Since the beginning of 2006, KOE has provided their services to Albany Law School, Albany Academy for Girls, Saratoga Shoe Depot, Skidmore College, Planned Productions, Arthur Murray Dance Studio, the NYS Real Estate Investors Association, SUNY Albany, The NYC Transit Authority, as well as others. In addition, they provide individual services for personal events and other production companies through videography, digital film editing, and DVD rendering.

Jeff Knight, Writer/Producer/Director/Editor is the President and Co-Founder of KOE. A 2006 graduate of Albany Law School, Jeff focused on Copyright Law and issues related to Entertainment Law. While attending law school, Jeff wrote, directed, edited, and co-produced two feature films - THE WOODS and EUTHYPHRO'S DILEMMA, both of which are currently being distributed. With Jeff at the production helm, KOE has completed a number of video and commercial projects in addition to their cinematic works. He directs, edits, and and performs audio work on all of KOE's projects as well as working in the capacity of director of photography and scriptwriter. He taught ADVANCED SCREENWRITING at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York in Fall 2006, and a number of his students requested that the Dean and the Cinema Department bring Jeff back for a number of specialized courses due to his enthusiasm and expertise in screenwriting.

In addition, Jeff has done freelance work for SUNY Albany, Courtroom Connect, iPOP, Yaris (Toyota), and a number of other corporate and private clients. In addition, Jeff has authored feature length screenplays, TV pilots, he works as a script doctor, and he teaches Advanced Screenwriting at the university level. Jeff has scripted a variety of corporate projects in addition to his prolific scriptwriting for the big screen.
Sheila McClain, Producer is the co-founder and Vice President of KOE and is a fountainhead of creative inspiration for many KOE projects. As an academic, she has taught at the university level since 1998 at Union College, Skidmore College, Siena College, and others. Her interests range from Criminology to Film Studies and she has developed many projects in the capacity of a consultant due to her expertise in human behavior and motivations, criminology, and film criticism. Sheila co-produced both of KOE's completed films and is in development on a variety of film projects including “lotus”, “Stranger Kinda Love”, “Descartes Demon”, and “Space Orphans”.
In addition, Sheila is the Founder and CEO of Windmill Creative Media, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to the development and furtherance of the arts, particularly with relation to relationship building between film and theatre.
Josh Chambers, Casting Director/Composer has worked within KOE as an assistant director, composer, and set designer. He is also the Artistic Director and Resident Composer of Fovea Floods Theater. Over the past 10 years he has directed 24 productions with his theatre company. In the fall of 2002, he directed Not in Our Name – "An Evening of Conscience" at The Great Hall at Cooper Union in New York City, whose performers included Edward Asner, Danny Glover, Tony Kushner, Marisa Tomei, Wallace Shawn, Andre Gregory, and Howard Zinn.
His composing credits include US Highway Love Slaves Pt. III - South of Heaven with Sledgehammer Theatre in San Diego, The Butterfly's Evil Spell, The Madwoman of Chaillot, and Vinegar Tom, all directed by Alma Becker for Skidmore College, the world premieres of Erik Ehn's Imp of Simplicity and Book of Tink, Amanda Maddock's Timepiece, Thursday's Child, and Your Birthday Slumber Party, Noel Allain's Wolfbrow, and The Body Snatcher, co-written with Peter Maradudin and Scott Feldsher. Other composing credits include Mary/Mary, an award winning feature film now in festivals across the US. This past February, his original play Bull Spears, was published in the anthology “Plays and Playwrights 2005”.
Chambers holds a Bachelor of Science in Theater from Skidmore, where he was a Filene Music Scholar in Classical Guitar, and a Master of Fine Arts in Directing from California Institute of the Arts.
Paul Rapp, Consulting Attorney has been involved with KOE from the beginning of their filmmaking endeavors, serving as their Entertainment Attorney. In addition, Paul has played feature roles in KOE films and his acting has been praised by studios and film producers abroad.
He has represented artists of every type, civic organizations, small businesses, and multinational corporations. Paul is a seasoned litigator, having represented various clients in state and federal courts in matters including copyright, trademark, the Visual Artists Rights Act, cybersquatting, defamation, civil rights, breach of contract, and commercial collections. Since 1999, Paul has held the position of adjunct professor of law at Albany Law School, teaching Art & Entertainment Law and Copyright Law. Further, hel is a member of the Graphic Artists Guild (GAG), and regularly appears on behalf of GAG as a member of The Copyright Forum on the WAMC-FM program VoxPop, answering listener questions regarding the protection of creative works.
He lectures regularly on intellectual property issues, and in 2003 and 2004 was a featured speaker at the Visual Art and the Law conference in Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Also, Paul writes regular columns for the art magazine The Artful Mind and for Voices, the Journal of the New York Folklore Society. Paul is also a music and opera reviewer for Metroland Magazine, and a professional musician, playing drums for the rock band Blotto.
