The LASIK Vision Institute, a leading provider of laser vision correction services, today announced it will be exclusively using the CustomVue laser vision technology from industry leader VISX Technology in all LASIK Vision Institute Centers across the country.

The VISX WaveScan Wavefront System identifies and measures imperfections in the eye 25 times more precisely than standard methods. Based on the data gathered, the WaveScan technology then produces a detailed “map” of the eye, translates this information and designs a set of digital treatment instructions for the VISX STAR S4 IR Excimer Laser System.
