For several years the rise of independent films has pushed new talent onto the silver screen and in the homes of millions. This year a new California company The Lenz Films, Inc. announced that that they have opened a new studio in Northridge, California and have added several films to the 2007 production slate- the newest of the films being the suspense-thriller Foreign Policy.

Leading the cast is six-time world martial arts champion Michel Laurin who plays Mike Pilon, a man in search of his kidnapped wife. Tey Punsalan plays Tina, Mike's wife. She is currently on tour across the United States and also a part of the USO Tour in Iraq. Other cast members include the Basco brothers (The Debut, Hook, HBO's The Entourage) who play a Filipino street gang. “We decided to cast the whole group of them for the movie. This will be the first time that all the Basco brothers (and their sister) will be in a film together, and we are proud to be able to give them such an opportunity." Also joining the cast is veteran martial arts master Bob Wall (Enter The Dragon), as well as many other fantastic talents. Making his commercial debut is director Gary Ambrosia.

Using the combined efforts of two original companies, The Lenz Films has created one of the only 1-stop independent filmmaking studios in the country. Their facilities include a full grip/lighting and camera department (offering both in- studio and location rentals), a full art department- including set construction/rentals, prop fabrication and special effects shop, and several HD editing suites- perfect for all postproduction needs.
