TRU Staffing Partners, a leading search firm representing talent and opportunities in the e-discovery and litigation support space, today announced its continued support of Women in eDiscovery (WiE) and will be sponsoring and leading events taking place July 9 and July 25.
Laney Altamar, Senior Vice President for TRU Staffing Partners, has assembled and will be moderating a panel discussion at the Washington, D.C. Chapter Meeting taking place July 9. The meeting is hosted by Dickstein Shapiro and will bring together established industry veterans to offer insight on the essential role of ongoing professional development in career growth. The interactive panel will discuss professional skill-based assessment and benchmarking, building a habit of ongoing investment and recommendations about leveraging resources to deepen and broaden professional skills and job satisfaction. Panelists include Benita Sumey, Associate Legal Director, Discovery Analytics and Review Service at Orrick; Gina Day Anders, Director with FTI Consulting; and Heather Nearhoof, Sr. Project Manager with UnitedLex, working for Goodwin Procter.
“It is a joy to bring together dynamic women who embody the rewards that come from a consistent investment in learning and professional growth,” stated Altamar. “This is a much needed opportunity for lively dialogue among the panelists and the members of WiE about how to get the career growth and job satisfaction they crave.”
The company is also sponsoring the WiE Dallas Chapter luncheon taking place July 25.
In addition, TRU’s Midwest and Washington, D.C. Manager of Recruiting, Cara Petrie, was elected as Secretary of the WiE Dallas Chapter. Additional team member appointments will be announced later this year.
