Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST), a leading provider of best of breed Unified Communications (UC) software, today announced that its CX-E UC platform has completed the first phase of the Mitel® third-party partner interoperability test certification process Self-Assessment Testing (SAT). As a Mitel Solutions Alliance partner since 2004, AVST has demonstrated expertise integrating with Mitel's solutions. This designation indicates that, after a detailed validation process, Mitel Communications Director (MCD) using SIP and MiTAI protocols work seamlessly with CX-E mobile, voice and business process applications. Now that the SAT process is complete, AVST and Mitel will work toward completing the Mitel-Compatible Test (MCT) process.
AVST is pleased to be exhibiting at this year's Mitel Business Partner Conference, which takes place from June 25-27 at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida. Visit AVST at booth 614 to learn how UC market forces - including context, mobility and cloud - are fueling the next generation of user productivity. AVST has been on the leading edge of UC trends for the past 30 years, and knows what it takes to keep up with today's ‘21st Century Knowledge Worker'.
With a focus on improving mobile worker productivity, AVST will be on hand to demonstrate Atom™, the next generation 'AVST Total Office Manager,' which is available on the CX-E platform. Atom acts as a 24/7 office manager that performs everyday business tasks through a multi-lingual speech personal assistant, unified messaging and a secure mobile client. With total office and mobile capabilities, Atom significantly increases workplace productivity and keeps workers connected wherever the day may take them.
The typical enterprise communications infrastructure is made up of a collection of technologies from multiple vendors, acquired over time and never intended to work together. To maximize user and business productivity, while leveraging existing IT investments, interoperability is a must.
AVST (avst.com) delivers the industry's most interoperable Unified Communications (UC) platform that brings best-of-breed voice, mobility and business process solutions to the enterprise. Unlike virtually every other UC vendor, AVST does not constrain customers with a single vendor lock-in approach. In fact, it's the very opposite. By connecting new and existing technologies, AVST frees organizations from the constraints of a closed, single-source UC solution, unlocking the full potential of their communications infrastructure.
With over 15 million users worldwide and three decades of innovation excellence, AVST is unifying communications®.
Headquartered in Orange County, California, AVST maintains facilities in Seattle, Washington, Victoria B.C., Canada and the United Kingdom and has remote sales offices throughout the United States. AVST's UC solutions are sold and supported worldwide by an extensive network of resellers and OEM partners.
