Now forming is the Poker Association of Independent Retailers (PAIR) designed to help individual companies selling poker & gaming goods and services to individual players combine their advertising resources and funnel it through the development of an online poker mall. The mall provides consumers an easy-search tool for quality poker & other products while helping entrepreneurs share marketing expenses and gain additional PR and web exposure.
What’s the name of this new mall? Don’t know yet. The mall sponsorship is still up for grabs. The mall will carry the name of the new sponsor. In addition to additional web exposure, PAIR offers a menu of additional value added benefits for the mall sponsor as well as individual retailers. Additional Benefits include weekly optimization of the website, co-op trade show participation and expense, co-op pay per click advertising, monthly marketing tele-seminars, discounts on additional marketing services, and more.
“The collaboration concept is new to the poker & gaming industry” says Michele Burghardt, Executive Director, “We’re looking for business owners who are looking for long range growth and share our vision of the positive results that come from collaborating. If we pool our resources, we’ll all benefit”.
Membership is open to retailers of anything poker or gaming with the exception of on-line gaming sites. Poker Jewelry, Poker CD’s and Books, Poker Sunglasses, Poker Boot camps, Gaming Training Software, Poker Magazines, Poker Radio, Poker Tables, Gaming Novelties are just some of the categories represented in the mall. At this time there is no limit to the product categories accepted for PAIR Membership. Membership kicks off January 23, 2007 and the estimated launch date of the online mall is April, 2007.
