VerticalResponse, a leading provider of self-service marketing tools for small businesses and non-profits including email marketing software, social media marketing and online event marketing, won the top Stevie® prize for company of the year at this week’s American Business Awards celebration in Chicago.
Additionally, the company received a gold Stevie trophy for customer service team of the year, as well as two silver honors in marketing and management categories, for a total of four wins.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the trophies were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Monday, June 17, at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel.

The gold American Business Awards Stevie for customer service department of the year comes on the heels of the company’s recent gold win at the Sales & Customer Service Stevie Awards for customer service management team of the year. The VerticalResponse support department was recognized for several accomplishments, including improved scores on key service quality metrics, and the launch of a new program that enabled top-performing support reps to spend time with other internal departments and explore different career options.
