The Gold Tuba series of AC servo drives joins Elmo’s Gold Line of high performance servo drives and network motion controllers.
Delivering up to 25 kW of continuous qualitative power from a compact, highly intelligent package, the Gold Tuba AC servo drive rectifies AC input voltage of up to 3x528 V AC with 40A continuous and 80A peak current. It operates in current, velocity, position and advanced position modes in conjunction with a permanent-magnet synchronous brushless motor, DC brush motor, linear motor or voice coil. The Gold Tuba supports a wide variety of feedback sensors in single, dual and gantry loop configurations.

The Gold Tuba is compliant with EtherCAT and CANopen field-bus communication standards for deployment in a variety of application configurations, and complies with international safety and EMC standards.
Among its expanded features, the Gold Tuba incorporates a powerful internal breaking shunt resistor and multi extended I/O interface.
