Silverpop™, the only digital marketing technology provider that unifies marketing automation, email, mobile and social, today announces impressive growth for its reseller channel as well as the launch of a data center dedicated to serving new customers in EMEA.
Revenue attributed to its reseller network in Q1 2013 increased by 74 percent as compared to Q1 2012.The network now gives Silverpop a presence in Australia/APAC, Africa, Latin America (Including Mexico and Brazil), and Eastern Europe (Turkey and Czech Republic). Strategic reseller relationships include partners such as Nitryx, Grapevine, Engage Digital, Entera and VIV.
Additionally in Q1, Silverpop launched a new data center, hosted in Germany, which will enhance the company’s compliance with European Union privacy directives to include an option for customers to store data exclusively in the EU. This gives marketers an additional level of confidence knowing their data will remain within the EU, allowing them to focus their attention on marketing strategy. With this launch, Silverpop becomes the first major, U.S.-based marketing automation provider to offer its customers a data center hosted in the EU.
“The launch of our EU data center is an integral step in continuing to help marketers in the UK, Germany and the rest of Europe deliver the most effective communications to their customers while continuing to adhere to local data privacy directives,” said Bill Nussey, CEO of Silverpop. “To make this announcement at the same time as we celebrate the success of our reseller channel speaks volumes about our commitment to our customers worldwide. It reflects our focus on giving marketers in EMEA and around the globe all the tools possible to become more strategic and more efficient while improving the customer experience by delivering the most effective digital marketing possible.”
Further highlighting its commitment to international reach Silverpop also recently expanded the group focused on supporting its reseller partner network as well as its team in EMEA. Jonna Stopnik has joined Silverpop as senior director of reseller channels. With nearly 30 years of experience developing international technology sales channels and alliances, Stopnik drives ongoing reseller recruitment, enablement, alliance partnering and strategy across Silverpop’s global reseller ecosystem. Additionally, John Watton was recently named senior director of EMEA marketing based out of the company’s UK office.
“Between our continued success in EMEA and the expansion of our reseller network, we are making the vision of behavioral marketing automation a reality for marketers on a global scale,” Nussey added.
