The inaugural Leading Edge forum will be held on Wednesday, 24 January 2007 at the GO Conference Suite in George Square, Glasgow. The Forum has been developed by Rockpools, one of the UK’s leading talent development consultancies, with its Scottish partner, MJI Business Solutions. Together, they have a strong track record of supporting individuals and organisations to build and strengthen their leadership capacity to drive forward positive change, recently working with high-profile clients, such as the Cabinet Office, Commission for Equalities and Human Rights, Olympic Delivery Authority, Thames Gateway, Glasgow City Council and East Dunbartonshire Council.
The Forum will provide a regular opportunity for Scotland’s future leaders from across the public, private and third sectors, to meet and share best practice, success or frustration with like-minded ambitious individuals. As well as career coaching and development, there will also be opportunities to provide mentoring and to be mentored outside your own professional membership bodies and your own organisation.
Nev Wilkinson, Managing Partner of Rockpools, will be speaking at the event. He said: “We want to encourage the delivery of a smart, successful Scotland by building a diverse, courageous and dynamic leadership pool. This Forum will provide the perfect platform for doing so, bringing together some of the brightest talent in Scotland to support them in preparing for their, and the country’s, success.”
MJI Business Solutions’ Chief Executive and Rockpools partner, Melvyn Ingleson, said: “We have the combined expertise, experience and passion to support Scotland’s future leaders to find their own personal leading edge and we are fully committed to supporting the next generation of Scotland’s leaders.”
There are still places left for the Forum. For more details or to express a confidential interest in becoming a member of the Leading Edge Forum, please contact Melvyn on 08707 202 509, 07808 900 670 or melvyn[.]mjibusinesssolutions.com.
