The largest cereal mill in the world migrated to the recently released CHAMPS CMMS/EAM version 12.0 to gain new functionality for work order management, preventive maintenance, equipment management, scheduling, materials management, and improved administrative features. As a result, Quaker Oats has been able to streamline functions and activities of maintenance supervisors and planners. Additionally, the company can now expedite their procurement process with improved communications functionality within the CHAMPS purchasing module.
The CHAMPS support team worked directly with the upgrade team at Quaker Oats to prepare and manage the transition for the upgrade. A migration plan was used to ensure a smooth transition to the new version of the CHAMPS CMMS/EAM solution. The CHAMPS team provided training overviews of the system features and functionality to acclimate the Quaker Oats team to the new release.

The Quaker Oats Company has relied on the CHAMPS CMMS/EAM solution for more than 20 years. The system is used to manage maintenance for production and facility equipment, and materials management activities including the storeroom and purchasing areas. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards provide real-time views of critical performance areas and are used by management for decision making analysis.
