Bacterial Peptides
CFTR (108-117); Pseudomonas aeruginosa Inhibitor (Cat# 61810-1/61810-5)
Sequence: SYDPDNKEER
This peptide represents amino acids 108-117 of the first CFTR(human cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator) extracellular domain. This peptide has been shown to inhibit internalization of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

This sequence corresponds to the first 21 amino acids of the NH2 terminal of histone H3 followed by a GG linker and a biotinylated lysine. This peptide was used to investigate the characteristics and mechanisms of ethanol-induced histone H3 acetylation in rat hepatocytes. Immunocytochemical and immunoblot analyses revealed that ethanol treatment significantly increased H3 acetylation at Lys9 with negligible effects at Lys14; 18; and 23.

This is a HLA A3 restricted HIV Nef epitope (QK10); a conserved CTL epitope within a functional domain of nef. It overlaps with CTL epitopes restricted by HLA A11; B7 and B35.

The L1 subfamily of cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) has a highly conserved cytoplasmic domain that contains a tyrosine; followed by the alternatively spliced RSLE (Arg-Ser-Leu-Glu) sequence.
