Only a few months following a major release that introduced remote meeting capabilities, ScreenConnect 3.1 refocuses on the core functionality of the application. In ScreenConnect 3.1, extended branding and customization possibilities include client icons, color schemes, customized menu items, and more. Additionally, the new release improves upon security and compliance by implementing support for 2-factor authentication as an optional security layer for technicians. This authentication method is often required with HIPAA, PCI, and similar standards. Further improvements include the ability to securely capture the guest’s credentials so they can be applied during a session.
