Research by the CRF Institute, backed by an independent audit, shows it is among the best employers in the UK, taking ‘excellent care of employees and providing exceptional working conditions’. The Britain’s Top Employer’s award ceremony took place in central London on Thursday night.
Emma Blaney, Group HRD of Informa plc, attended the awards with some of her team. She said,“We are absolutely, utterly delighted. We’ve been among the Top Employers generally for a number of years now a feat in itself so to be given a ranking for the first time is a stunning achievement, particularly because of the high-profile companies we now know we walk tall with, among them KFC and Weatherspoons.
“The news went ‘public’ in The Guardian newspaper on Saturday, and impacts us as a business as it helps spread the news that we are an exceptional employer, which in turn helps us attract more of the best people in the world.”
The judges explained,“Whether you are looking for high rates of pay, excellent career development, relaxed working environment or superb training, the profiles of the companies included in Top Employers offer incisive and compelling insight into what it’s like to work for some of the most forward-thinking employers.
“Independent research by Grant Thornton into Informa’s employee offerings showed it has outstanding working conditions.
