Al Masaood Automobiles, exclusive distributors for Nissan and Infiniti range of vehicles in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, are pleased to announce that they are Gold Sponsors of the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship.
Nissan is the Official Car for the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and all players will be utilizing Nissan vehicles throughout the duration of the Championship. Al Masaood Automobiles have also provided the sponsors with a 350Z vehicle to be featured as the “Hole in one Prize”.
The Abu Dhabi championship scheduled from the 18th to the 21st of January’2007, will be the first full field competition of the 2007 European Tour international schedule, one of 49 tournaments spread over 24 countries.
The Golf Championship, the UAE capital’s biggest sporting event, will see a field of 120 professionals vie for a share of the US$2 million prize fund and the Official World Golf Ranking points on offer.

The Abu Dhabi Golf Club has been originally designed by Swiss architect Peter Harradine and had been modified and upgraded for this prestigious championship. With internationally ranked world class players like Chris Di Marco, Retief Goosen, Colin Montgomerie, Padraig Harrington, Paul Casey and Sergio Garcia having confirmed attendance the $ 2 Million inaugural Abu Dhabi Golf Championship is likely to draw crowds of upto 10,000 on each day of the event.
