In the past three years Don's work has been accepted in over 50 national shows, winning several awards along the way. Curator's Choice Award Winner went to Bruce Richardson for his photograph entitled "Pond Lillies".
Bruce has formal training and experience as a Scenic Artist. For many years, creating set and light designs of depth and imagination. He has also delved into the bright bold world of acrylics. However, it is with photography and the computer that he has been best able to manipulate the world to reflect his distinctive vision. Bruce describes his work: "Colors are saturated, objects are framed to present his view of things real and things imagined." His vision is more about art and the message to the audience and less about the technical details.
"We are very excited to be able to showcase these artists for this new exhibition," said Donna Corless. "We wish to create a unique gallery that displays a variety of mediums, while maintaining a high level of quality."
