The Guys in LA based Hard Rock Band Death and Taxes must feel a little like Guns and Roses, both CD's are taking epic time spans to be recorded and released.
Jay Link, Lead singer, and self-professed Media Whore says" Our situation was a little different that Axl's & GNR & Company.Quite frankly, being a self-produced, self-financed Indie rock band, we ran out of funds." So far we have been self-produced with assists from Grammy nominated engineer Eric Falborg, and our Guitarist Michael Cutting is also producing.
After putting in over 50K US in the project, the well just ran dry. They are now back on track with new financing, and some amazing help from Heart's current Guitarist Craig Bartock, who will be finishing the project along with Michael Cutting by mixing and mastering the final 6 songs on the CD. Link say's "Craig is an amazing engineer and producer and I am sure he will do a great job on the final 6 songs. He has produced and engineered Blondie, and Heart's latest release among others".

In related news, Dead Moose Records, the bands Indie Label will donate $3.00 of every CD sold to Jay Link's Walk for the Children Charity fund for the first year of release.
