IQ Tech Pros, the world's largest full-service IT integration network, today announced a series of marketing workshops entitled,"How to Land a Hot IT Project.” The two-hour, concentrated workshops, previously only available for network members, are now open to all IT consultants. The workshops will be held on Thursday, September 27, from 11am to 1pm CST, Tuesday, October 2, from 11am to 1pm and on Thursday, October 4, from 12pm to 2pm. Registration is available on the IQ Tech Pros website in the attend a webinar link.
IQ Tech Pros experts understand how to help IT consultants stand apart from the sea of technologists in the market. Although many applicants may have technical areas of expertise, the skills offered in the marketing workshops teach ways to implement proven techniques for preparing, prospecting and negotiating for projects.
“Every business has been flooded with resumes after posting a job, so to manage that process many times software is the first line of gate keeping. Our techniques help consultants who were having little to no success, because of these types of tools, suddenly find an abundance of opportunities, interviews and multiple offers – just by applying the principles taught in this workshop,” said Kashif Aftab, CEO of IQ Tech Pros.
The workshops are presented by IQ Tech Pros senior vice president of Sales and Marketing, Ted Finch, a marketing expert who is well known within the entire software industry and has launched over 400 products for over 150 vendors (Microsoft, Intel, HP, Sony, Adobe, Citrix, IBM, etc.). Mr. Finch wrote the marketing plan and published Netscape, launched the AOL channel for Steve Case, formed Red Storm with Tom Clancy, and has held executive positions at Motorola and at $130 billion GE. He has spoken at numerous conferences worldwide and has been quoted in over 100 books and publications. Mr. Finch is an expert in resume SEO and has presented and refined this material over the last 16 years.
