Telenity was awarded this prestigious prize for its Canvas Location-based Social Networking Solution deployed as a managed service in the networks of the top two leading mobile operators in India.
In addition to partnering with the mobile operators on the testing, launch and marketing of the location-based services across a combined subscriber base of 295 million, Telenity also collaborated with multiple local digital map vendors in order to provide location-based services and points-of-interest information.
On behalf of Telenity, Ilhan Bagoren, Chief Executive Officer, received the award from Taha Yucel, Vice President of RTUK (Radio and Television Supreme Council) of Turkey at the ICT Summit Eurasia Awards Ceremony held on September 11th, 2012 in Istanbul.

Telenity’s project that received first place among 12 competitive finalists from the region, included the design, development, delivery, testing, marketing, and managed services of Location-based Social Networking solution for India. It is deployed in GSM networks of two top leading mobile operators.
Organized as an international platform where successful cross-border projects realized by and through mutual cooperation of ICT companies in the region are recognized and awarded, this year’s ICT Summit Eurasia Awards witnessed competition from 12 international finalists. Projects were assessed based on several success factors including geographical coverage, effective program management, technologies and products used, research and development, and uniqueness. While Telenity received first place, TAV Bilişim Hizmetleri and Netas Telekomunikasyon came in second and third respectively. FSB Future Solution for Business Ltd received the Jury’s Special Prize.
