As a leading ERP vendor for SMEs, ABAS Force China was invited to speak at the 9th China Manufacturing IT Forum at the Suzhou Conference Center, Jiangsu, China.
More than 500 people from more than 20 domestic and foreign well-known information technology vendors and more than 20 industry from over 10 provinces and cities in China participated at this event.
Forrest Yang, General Manager of ABAS Force China and keynote speaker at the IT Forum, presented a 360° overview of abas Business Software focusing on the simplicity, mobility and role-based management. As an abas user, there are pre-defined screens based on roles and responsibilities, which can limit data visibility to those records, owned by the user or be expanded to include all records. Charts display open transactions by type, transaction detail, and abas ERP is integrated with a document management system that displays the document from the archive. Icons notify the user of late transactions, missing items or customer issues to enable management by exception, resulting in improved customer service and on time performance.
ABAS (abas-software.com) entered into China’s market in 2003 and first established offices in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Shanghai in 2010 with ABAS Force (China) Limited. Currently, abas ERP clients’ are mainly in Southern and East China. “More than 80% of mid-sized companies use ERP systems in Germany, while only less than 10% of corporations truly put ERP system into use in China”, explains Peter Forscht, COO of ABAS Software AG. “Thus great potential lies in this market and ABAS will concentrate its effort on products, markets and services in the future to develop China’s market in a larger extend”, adds Forscht.
