With the new battery that is now available for the DuraLabel 4TTP printer, making signs and large format labels can be done in the field, on the shop floor, or on a construction site. Previously the largest label that could be printed by a battery-operated label printer was two inches in width. The DuraLabel 4TTP can print labels up to four inches in width, plus labels can be tiled to create large labels and signs.
The DuraLabel 4TTP is a high quality, 300 dpi thermal transfer printer that uses adhesive-backed vinyl tapes and die-cut labels up to four inches in width. DuraLabel vinyl tapes exceed the industry standard for outdoor durability (seven years vs. the standard of five years) and are available in over 100 colors. Chemical resistant ribbons result in clear, crisp, durable printing, providing labels and signs that last. The DuraLabel can print a wide range of labels and signs, including wire and cable markers, arc flash warning labels, RTK labels, and glow-in-the-dark signs, as well as conventional labels and signs, and more.
The DuraLabel Nickel Metal Hydride battery is 8.8” x 11” in size, matching the base dimensions of the DuraLabel printer. Its compact 1.4” height results in a low profile base that fits neatly under the DuraLabel 4TTP printer. Approximately 500 large size 4” x 8” labels can be printed on a single charge. (This may vary depending on the label.) Recharging the battery takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
