With this standards achievement, the CL3000 has proven to be not only eco-friendly and lightweight, but also reliable in demanding mobile environments.
The CL3000 was tested for method method 514.6, procedure1, category 4 common carrier. ATEN's lightweight console was tested within the schedule of a common carrier and measured on the cargo floor of the vehicles tested: trucks and semitrailer combinations. It was examined against vibrations present at all frequencies over a relatively wide frequency range of 5–500MHz at varying intensities.
The MIL–STD–810 tests limits to the physical conditions a product will experience during its life cycle. It establishes test methods that replicate the effects environments have on equipment instead of imitating those environments.
Lightweight and with a 19” power-saving LED-backlit LCD, the CL3000 offers a space-saving, streamlined approach to KVM switch technology by integrating a keyboard, monitor and touchpad in a 1U housing. The CL3000, contributing to reduced electricity costs and minimal environmental impact, consumes 33 percent less energy and is 35 percent lighter than existing ATEN 19” LCD console models.
