A new online magazine for parents has been launched today. This is a unique concept designed to create a community to celebrate parenthood worldwide. Articles are submitted by parents from all walks of life and all corners of the world thus they share their unique stories and experiences with other parents creating global connection.
“Anyone can be a part of this magazine as long as you have something to tell another parent” said Ali Awan, the creator of Diverse Parent. “What we are looking for is diversity. Whether you are a new parent or a single parent, grandparent, or a same-sex parent, divorced parent, or a mature parent, or even a wannabe parent, we would like to hear from you” he added.
The idea for this magazine was conceived when we realized that parenthood is not as easy as we thought it would be. Along with all of the joyous moments we often came across roadblocks, and utter confusion. We realized that we were not alone in this. Parents all over the world are facing similar challenges. We thought it would be a great idea if we could all meet in one place and share our thoughts in writing. Thus the idea for Diverse Parents™ (diverseparent.com) was born.
What we are looking for is diversity. Whether you are a new parent or a single parent, grandparent, or a same-sex parent, divorced parent, or a mature parent, or even a wannabe parent, we would like to hear from you.
Tell us your challenges as an ethnic parent in an American world or how to raise a child with Jewish values. Whether you are Indian or Chinese, African or Portuguese, we all have stories to tell and knowledge to share. So please do so here.
The subscription to this site is free and one can submit articles directly from the website.
