ADS Portal, a privately held subscription based computing provider, today announced that Rowanmoor Pensions has signed a 3 year contract to implement its Online Desktop solution to over 200 users.
The Online Desktop service is a complete, secure computing environment that delivers customers software applications and business data anywhere and over any connection, including the Internet, making it one of the most powerful and flexible IT solutions available today.
“Rowanmoor didn’t want the burden of running its own IT infrastructure. We needed a reliable IT system that would provide us with the flexibility to add new users as our business grows, but within a defined budget. By outsourcing our IT, utilising ADS Portal’s Online Desktop service and having a subscription based service, we believe we are saving in the region of £200,000 a year.”
ADS Portal is provisioning Microsoft Office, Outlook and a number of other line of business applications such as SSAS Pro, for Rowanmoor Pensions. Business benefits include:
• Per user/per month pricing enables budgetary control;
• Inherent built in Business Continuity;
• Free help desk support;
• In built software asset management (SAM) and
• Immediate availability of latest releases of software without the need to upgrade hardware.
Ian Readman, Managing Director, ADS Portal commented, “Our Online Desktop solution is ideally suited to small to medium companies with employees of between 20 and 300[a1]. Rowanmoor Pensions, like all of our customers, now have a high performance, secure and robust IT provision.
