Virtual Geomatics is pleased to announce the release of its SmartLiDAR Explorer lite and Explorer core software along with advanced add-on modules.
LiDAR Explorer Lite, a stand-alone tool, designed to help engineers, surveyors, construction & mining personnel to easily and instantly extract volume information from LiDAR Point Cloud Data. The Software can directly import data from variety of popular terrestrial and mobile sensors.
LiDAR Explorer is designed on a hub & spoke architecture. The Explorer core forms the base, on which are several user selectable add-on modules to address the varied user applications.
Catering to all types of point cloud data – Mobile, Terrestrial and Airborne, the LiDAR Explorer core carries the processing engine and 3D viewer for large scale processing and classification of data.
The user selectable add-on modules are developed to augment the Explorer Core’s performance to address the various applications and process workflows in end-to-end processing. The purpose driven add-on modules carry utilities that include Smart Classification, Data Calibration and Apps – to efficiently extract custom feature coded design level vector information which can be fed directly to Autodesk, Bentley, PLSCADD and other popular CAD software. Software add-ons also includes Asset Management, GIS Integration – to extract intelligently attributed GIS information that feeds directly to popular GIS software like ESRI, Oracle, and more to create accurate maps and database.
Marquee customers, who are industry leaders, have standardized their lidar processing workflows with Virtual Geomatics’ software for their railroad, roadway, power line, hydrology and waste water for their large scale design and GIS applications.
