Leesa Fogarty, the Australian Designer who made a stand at Australian fashion week for a healthy body image has arrived in Paris to meet European buyers and showcase MaraJoara's latest Spring/Summer and Transeasonal Collections.
Marajoara's healthy body image campaign launch at Transeasonal Collections Rosemount Australian Fashion Week received international recognition in September when size 6-14 models were used to showcase the collection on the runway just two days before Madrid's Government took their stand.
Leesa has just returned from showcasing her collection in Eastern Europe at Sarajevo Fashion Week. Sarajevo Fashion Week also embraced a healthy body image position with all shows throughout the week supporting Fogarty's position. Sarajevo Fashion Week coincided with the launch of MaraJoara's first wholesale store in Ipanema, Brazil where the label was picked up as the doors opened by leading Brazilian stylist Flavia Torloni.
MaraJoara (marajoara.com.au) has also been chosen as the swimwear label used in the latest LeSpecs Campaign in Australia and as the Carribean inspired swimwear in Vogue Living and Entertainment.
