To increase their global footprint Aviation Services Management (ASM) has recently joined hands with Asia Trip Support (ATS) in China. This strategic alliance will confirm ATS as their exclusive representative in China which will not only boost their clientele but will also make sure that existing clients receive local support throughout the country. Being extensively present in USA, Europe, Africa and Middle East, ASM will provide its services to ATS in these regions.

An aviation services provider with a comprehensive outlook of the aviation market in China ATS will look into all aspects of business and general aviation for ASM. The company has offices in various locations within China with multilingual hands on staff. ATS will be responsible for providing services such as ground handling, permits, operations and hotac on request. “This joint venture is surely a big step for both ATS and ASM; I believe this collaboration will bring us mutual benefits. I am thrilled to be associated with ASM, which has a global presence and I believe this venture will help us to deal with our customers that travel frequently to international locations”, says Shirley Sheng, President of ATS.

ASM has always been about further expanding and catering to the needs of clients worldwide in a timely and safe manner. Further explaining the venture, Vito Gomes, Managing Director of ASM says,“As we have been growing in the Middle East, Asia& Africa we expect South East Asia, China in particular, to be our forte in the years to come as we know that the Chinese market holds a promising potential. We would like to partner in as many regions as possible if it would benefit the industry as well as serve our clients. We feel that China is a dynamic market and can foresee tremendous untapped potential. ”

Being a visionary Vito Gomes has always striven to build relationships with companies that are professional in their approach. ATS provides a good balance of extensive on ground and in-flight knowledge for the alliance to be far reaching and fruitful. In India too ASM is soundly set up with two fully functional offices in Mumbai and Goa since 2006,“We undertake fuelling at all Indian airports and will very soon be having our own representatives at most of the airports in the country which will have a positive impact on our top notch services. The global downturn due to the ongoing financial meltdown has definitely affected General Aviation on the whole but slowly and surely it is picking up especially in the Far East & Asian countries. I perceive 2014 to be a good year to look forward to”, concludes Gomes.
